Took me 2 weeks to get mine back. But getting everything ready for it to be shipped is the worst part. It takes a good 4 days to get the box. I even had to wait overnight when trying to file a request for repair.....server must have overloaded :P

Sure is a whole lot quieter than the xbox. I'm pretty sure they put a jet engine in the 360. It's one of the reasons why I play the ps3 a bit( okay a lot) more than my 360 ^_^

2 weeks is the norm it appears. Everyone keeps saying 2 weeks. The box is scheduled to arrive Thursday for me to send it in. It was on its way out as it had froze before so maybe its good that it will be fixed. So meh, and I like the game selection and this is the first real problem I have had with it. So oh well. Plus its the beginning of the semester so maybe its better that I am not distracted by it. oO

Never played a ps3 so I don't know how quiet it is. I did have an intercooler on my 360 and that made it even louder so when I took it off it sounded real quiet to me.

Well sleep time now, one class tomorrow and a trip home to get my ps2. Oh boy.
